This diptych uses off-screen image making and typography to highlight a letter that Paul Laurence Dunbar wrote just two months before his death. The off-screen images were made with charcoal and my handwriting; these were scanned in and manipulated with Photoshop.
This project has received many awards and publications. Right now, this has been shown in the Dayton Metro Library, The Hub Entrepreneurship Center Powered by PNC Bank, and the President's House at the University of Dayton.
